Those in Lorain, Ohio who love Polish specialties need to stop by Babcia's Kitchen, a food truck offering dishes made from family recipes.

The truck is located on Leavitt Road one day a week and is run by Kris Kiedrowski and Alex Kasubienski. The duo launched the mobile food enterprise at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a Morning Journal report.

The truck boasts both Polish and Slovenian food items, from stuffed cabbage to wieprzowina and pierogis. The couple, who are engaged, also share a military background.

"There's nothing better than when I'm on Facebook reading reviews and they say it tastes so good or it tastes just like their grandmother's," Kiedrowski told the news outlet. "That's what we want. That's what we're here for: authentic cooking."
