Good food isn't the only goal for the Chace Concessions food truck which will begin serving the Dayton, Ohio area in Spring 2022.
Owner Tae Winston plans to use the food truck to spread insight about autism and raise money for autism charities including the Dayton Autism Society, according to a Dayton Daily News report.
Winston's 11-year-old son, Chace, has autism and will help his mother run the food truck enterprise.
It all started back in March.
"He's been dealing with autism for years and I just want him to grow up and know that he matters, too, and give him something to look forward to," Winston told the news outlet.
The truck menu includes everything from funnel cakes to nachos and ice cream.
It will debut at the Dayton Autism Society's 5K Walk/Run for Autism Awareness and Acceptance. Every first Sunday, proceeds will benefit the Dayton Autism Society.
