Lawmakers in Chillicothe, Ohio, tabled the third reading of a food truck ordinance over questions about the town's ability to enforce requirements on private property, as well as other concerns, according to the Chillicothe Gazette.
The legislation was sent back to committee to address these concerns.
The legislation covers fees, location permits, hours of operation, operating requirements and signage. Violation penalties can include suspension of an operating permit and a $500 fine.
