Owner LJ Koch aims to create the world's fastest food truck by combining a C8 Corvette engine and chassis with a 1952 International Metro. Koch also plans to take the food truck to Brickyard 400 NASCAR race on July 27 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to attempt to set a record with the Guinness World Record, according to a report by Road And Track.
Koch used a 2021 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51 engine for the truck. It has a top speed of 184 mph normally.
In order to beat the food truck record, the truck will need to go 130 mph. The truck is fully functioning while also containing Corvette seats, dash and steering wheel.
