Dan Clanton, owner of The Grill 1646, a food truck in Lincoln City, Oregon, served around 600 hamburgers and 400 donated blankets to homeless people in Portland, Salem and Lincoln City, according to a KGW-TV report. Clanton and his family cooked the meals at the Lincoln City Resource Center, then drove to Portland where they served people at homeless facilities, then moved to Salem and fed people at a facility there.
This marks the second year Clanton has served he homeless. Food was provided by local businesses and blankets were provided by a group called Blanket Drive.
