Oregon health agency sets hearing on food truck rules

October 28, 2019

A public hearing by the Oregon Health Authority will be held today at 9 a.m. at the Portland State Office Building on proposed rules regarding food handling, storage, refrigeration, construction, inspection and rating for food trucks and carts, according to a report in The Bulletin.

The rules are expected to be finalized in January and phased in over a number of years.

Deschutes County Health Services recently sent notices to food truck and cart operators with a draft of the proposed state rules.
