Officials in Oswego, Illinois are making it a bit easier for food truck operators by eliminating a license requirement for serving on private property.
The decision comes after brick-and-mortar eateries and breweries, running food trucks, asked village leaders to ease license and registration mandates, according to a Kendall County Now report.
There is still an annual $200 licensing fee for serving on public property, according to the report, but food trucks are now exempt from the village food and beverage tax requirement.
