A food truck in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, is all about empowering the deaf community.
The truck, Abey Khao, was founded by a hearing-impaired family and is run entirely by hearing-impaired staff, according to a report at The Indian Express.
The truck offers instructional diagrams on how to state simple sign language phrases and aims to bridge the communication gap between the hearing community and the deaf community.
"We should create our own path through entrepreneurship, no matter how small it is, because we value our dignity as independent living beings more than anything else," Sheikh Faizan, a family member, told the news outlet via sign language.
