Panda Express challenges food truck name

Panda Express claims that the Trash Panda Vegan food truck in Phoenix challenges its trademark. The chain said that the name and logo are too similar, which could cause "irreparable harm" to its brand, according to a report by 12 News.

Trash Panda Vegan does not serve Chinese food, but instead serves vegan burgers, Sonoran dogs and chicken wings. The logo also features a cartoon panda in a trashcan eating a burger, while Panda Express uses a more realistic panda outline.

"I want to fight," Krystal Mack, owner of Trash Panda Vegan, said in the report. "Because if we settle, we're settling for less and we have to do everything all over again."
