Paper Plane Pizza to open in Milwaukee food hall

Paper Plane Pizza will open at the 3rd Street Market Hall in Milwaukee, slated to debut in January 2022, according to an OnMilwaukee report.

The pizzeria will preview its fare at an event Dec. 22 to benefit the victims of the Waukesha parade who were hit by a motorist who drove through the parade.

Paper Plane Pizza began as a food truck and pop-up restaurant in Chicago and was founded by owners Dustin Drankiewicz and Milos Stevanovic. It will serve whole pies and slices, with locally sourced ingredients.

"We listen to what our guests in the neighborhood want," Drankiewicz told the news outlet. "If someone's like 'I just really want a white pizza with artichokes,' we will most likely bring in artichokes. That's the kind of spot we want to be."
