Pennsylvania borough to regulate food trucks

September 12, 2018

The borough of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, is considering its options to regulate food trucks, borough manager John Ernst recently advised the borough's code committee, according to The Reporter.

Ernst said food trucks will likely not be permitted in rights of way on public roads, although rules will likely be different for private events. He said he and his staff have examined the way other jurisdictions regulate food trucks, and that he would make recommendations to the committee in the next month or so.
