Pennsylvania city approves food truck rules in time for July 6 event

The Coatesville, Pennsylvania city council passed an ordinance to regulate food trucks, according to a lancasteronline report. It requires trucks to be licensed through the Chester County Health Department and assesses fees ranging from $50 per day to $500 per year, along with a security deposit.

The ordinance becomes law in time for the July 6 Unity Day, which will be held at 3 p.m. in Gateway Park, Route 82 and Lincoln Highway. In addition to food trucks, the event will feature live music, kid activities and fireworks.
