Pennsylvania community home to Food Truckin' Thursdays

A weekly event, Food Truckin' Thursdays, is taking place in western Pennsylvania at Freeport Community Park.

The event, which kicked off June 3 and runs through Sept. 2, will feature several food trucks serving from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., according to a TribLive report.

"It's kind of cool in the food truck business," organizer Jackie Gaughan told the news outlet. "It's a brotherhood or sisterhood where we all work together. It's not a competition or a rivalry. Everybody's friendly, everybody wants everybody to do well."

Food truck operators pay a weekly fee and funds are donated to the Restore Freeport Community Park. So far, $550 has been raised.
