Pennsylvania county mulls food truck ordinance

Lawmakers in Plum, Pennsyvlvania are working on a food truck ordinance that will likely go into effect by year's end.

The ordinance will require food truck operations ot have insurance as well as local health department certification, according to a TribLive report,

It may also require a $25 fee and include a provision to create a food truck database for law enforcement and code enforcement needs.

The Plum council members are also working out specific requirements relating to street us and traffic line use, according to the report.
