Pennsylvania food truck festival benefits a good cause

The annual Wish Upon a Food Truck Festival, on City Island in Pennsylvania, will take place on Sept. 19 and benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Philadelphia, Delaware and Susquehanna Valley.

Organizers said the event also presents a way for local community residents in Harrisburg to engage, according to a Burg News report.

"Now more than ever, people are looking for ways to engage in the community," event coordinator Emily Reading told the news outlet.

Make-A-Wish grants wishes for children battling serious illnesses. Each of the 25 participating trucks will have a donation jar and there will be 'giving stations' during the event as well.
