Old Lycoming Township, Pennsylvania, supervisors discussed updating the township’s food truck ordinance Tuesday night and expect to vote on the ordinance at their next meeting, according to the Sun-Gazette.
Township manager Bob Whitford said the township wants to ensure food trucks are complying with state Department of Agriculture licensing and that brick-and-mortar restaurants have not complained about the truck. He said the supervisors will likely vote on at their next meeting.
He said the community wants to know who is operating the trucks, but they don't want to discourage them.
