Petit Poutinerie plans to close its restaurant in Rochester, New York and its food trucks will no longer book events. Owner Ronnie McClive pointed to the "tricky" environment for small businesses, according to a report by Democrat & Chronicle.
McClive first launched the Le Petite Poutine food truck in 2011, offering the Quebec classic poutine. Over time, it added a second food truck and opened a restaurant in 2022.
McClive pointed to the fact that it was difficult to convert customers to the restaurant and that remote work has impacted business in downtown areas.
