Philadelphia church deploys food truck to feed the homeless

A Philadelphia church recently bought a food truck to provide free meals to the homeless, according to a KYW-TV report. Members of the Church of Christian Compassion raised the funds to purchase the truck as part of its outreach ministry The truck served meals from its menu during its dedication this past Sunday.

The church already gives away 300,000 pounds of food annually through its partnership with Share and Philabundance.
