Additional food trucks will not be allowed in one Philadelphia neighborhood, as a result of a bill that the city council passed on Thursday, according to a CBS 3 report. The four food trucks at the corner of Bustleton and Cottman Avenues in the tenth district will be the last food trucks allowed in the district.
Councilmember Brian O'Neil sponsored the bill in response to complaints from traditional restaurants and safety concerns related to traffic. The city's sixth district has banned mobile food operations since 1998.
