PickUp Food Truck Park holds soft opening in Nashville

The PickUp Food Truck Park held a soft opening recently in Nashville, Tennessee.

The park provides a space for trucks in an increasingly crowded environment in the city, according to a report by WKRN.

Co-Founder Laurie Holloway said the space is owned by a friend who wanted to help food trucks.

"They're having trouble finding places to park," Holloway said. "Nashville is growing like crazy, development is everywhere. We've had a really good response from the food trucks who are just looking for some place to stay."

The food truck park will be open Thursday through Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is offering free vendor spaces through September.
