Popular Connecticut truck expands with brick-and-mortar eatery

So many customers are lining up at the Fuego Picante food truck, in West Hartford, Connecticut, the owner is expanding the brand's footprint with a sit-down location. The physical eatery will be on Park Road, according to a Hartford Business report.

The truck, owned and operated by Chef Omar Bello, serves authentic Mexican cuisine.

"The truck has been very successful," Bello told the news outlet. "But it brings in too many people. We don't have enough room to serve them all."

The brick-and-mortar location is also called Fuego Picante, and offers just about two dozen seats with an outdoor patio for 20 diners in warm weather.

The food truck will remain in business, serving dishes from tacos to birria and fresh made guacamole.
