Port Huron, Michigan group seeks to establish food truck court in renovated plaza

July 28, 2017

The Community Foundation of St. Clair County in Port Huron, Michigan is in the preliminary stages of bringing gourmet food trucks to the newly renovated plaza in St. Clair in hopes of bringing an upscale food movement, according to The Voice.

The foundation wants to see food trucks all over the county, said Audrey Sochor, foundation office coordinator. They have invited food trucks to use the courtyard to enrich the area's food culture, as well as to encourage people to see what else downtown has to offer.

Eli's Eats in the Streets kicked off the foundation's cause this month and will be parked in the courtyard every Friday this summer. In addition, Williams Food Truck served patrons during Port Huron's Boat Week July 17 to 22.
