Louisville lawmakers once again discussed proposed food truck regulations Tuesday that would limit the number of spots food trucks can reserve, according to a WAVE-TV report.
The rules would restrict reserved space to no more than a quarter on any block, and would limit noise from generators and create guidelines for pedestrian safety.
Food truck owners have been paying close attention to the discussions. Louisville Food Truck Association President Leah Stewart said if she cannot get a reserved spot, she will need to be downtown by 7 a.m. in order to find a location for her truck.
A council committee will continue discussions about the ordinance in two weeks.
