Que Sazon Foods, a farmers market stand and pop-up, will open a food truck called Clandestino Mex Street Food in Austin, Texas. The truck will offer tacos, tostadas, quesadillas and tacos dorados, according to a report by Austin Eater.
Co-owners and couple Alejandro Macias and Jennifer Camacho will run the truck. They chose the name Clandestino as it means clandestine in English, which represents the experience of many immigrants in America.
"We do not shy away from the experiences of thousands of immigrants in the United States," Camacho said in the report.
The name also references that many food trucks often disappear, such as when the New York City Sanitation forced many Latin American street food vendors to close.
The food truck's hours will be 7 p.m. to midnight on Thursday, 7 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
