Radar, a provider of geofencing, has unveiled Radar Maps Platform, featuring vector base maps as well as a suite of geocoding, search and routing APIs, according to a company press release.
Paired with Radar's Geofencing Platform, the company offers a holistic location infrastructure for any product or service, allowing it to deliver both full-stack geofencing and mapping functionalities.
While developers and enterprises have historically had many options for mapping and geocoding, incumbent solutions have become increasingly expensive and restrictive over time. The market, however, is demanding affordable, open alternatives, paving the way for projects like OpenStreetMap, MapLibre and Overture Maps Foundation, according to the release.
