Registration to begin for College of Dupage food truck rally and 5K run

Registration for the College of Dupage 2018 Food Truck Rally and Sunset 5K will begin Tuesday, May 1, outside the Student Resource Center on the college's Glen Ellyn campus. The kickoff event will feature the Toasty Cheese food truck, according to the Chicago Tribune. 

The food truck rally and Sunset 5K run will take place from 2–8 p.m., Oct. 13, on the College of Dupage football field. The event will feature 15 food trucks and a variety of activities, including a 100-yard youth dash.

Early bird registration for the 5K costs $10; entry fee increases will be announced later, but will not exceed $15, the report said. The fee to enter the youth dash is $5.

Proceeds will benefit scholarships for College of Dupage students. Registrants can designate their race fees for the high school district of their choice.
