Restaurant consultant launches food truck in New Jersey

Melanie Landano, a restaurant consultant in New Jersey, is now running her own food truck in Tenafly, North Jersey.

The burger and cheesesteak truck is called Mel's Butcher Box and open for business on Franklin Avenue, according to a NorthJersey.com report.

Born in Tenafly, Landano has spent her career consulting for local restaurants and has appeared on Food Network projects as well as media programs, according to the report.

She plans to offer packaged meats to-go and her truck is available for catering as well.

"Anything you want, I can do," Landano told the news outlet. "If you want high-quality steak, I can give you that. If you just want a burger bar, I can do that."
