Rhode Island school launches food truck for student chefs

Culinary students at Lincoln High School in Rhode Island will soon have a food truck as part of their curriculum program.

The food truck will be put to work at school events and was paid for with a state grant through the Rhode Island Department of Education, according to a
ABC6 report.

It is one of a dozen school districts tapping the grant to buy food trucks. Students are currently producing graphic designs for the truck and the hope is to have the food truck up and running by the fall semester.
