The Jarupa Valley, California city council approved an application and inspection fee process for food trucks, according to The Press Enterprise. The city will be one of the few in Riverside County to allow food trucks to operate without special event permits since the county lifted its restrictions in 2013.
Food trucks must obtain a permit from the county's environmental health department, and a business registration certificate and vending permit from the city. Trucks will be permitted to operate from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and are not allowed within 50 feet of an intersection or 300 feet of a school.
