The Riverside, Illinois village board is working to address issues surrounding food trucks, specifically parking in the village.

The board has approved keeping food trucks further back from businesses and local homes, according to a report by Riverside-Brookfield Landmark.

The board wants food trucks to park 100 feet away from restaurant entrances and 75 feet away from local homes. The board also identified 10 private parking lots for food trucks.

In addition, food trucks must pay a $30 fee for private events within Riverside.
