The Rochester Food Truck Alliance, which was instrumental in organizing the city's food trucks, has disbanded since the organization has completed its goals of creating permanent food truck locations, according to Lizzie Clapp, who ran the organization with Veronica "Ronnie" McClive for the last five years, the Democrat & Chronicle reported. They are co-owners of the Le Petit Poutine food truck.
McClive created the organization to lobby for laws favorable to food trucks. The organization successfully advocated for the city to increase the number of locations where trucks can operate downtown; there are now 12.
