San Antonio food truck operator opens physical restaurant

The owners of a successful food truck franchise in San Antonio, Texas have opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant called El Remedio Mexican Kitchen and Bar.

Joshua and Martha Palacios spent the past five years running a fleet of food trucks called El Remedio, serving up classic birria and Mexican fare, according to a MySanAntonio report. They began their first food truck as a ceviche and delivery service before going into a full Mexican menu.

"We've waited five years for this opportunity, knocking on doors and working hard," Joshua told the news outlet. "San Antonio has done so much for [my wife Martha and I] and blessed us so much, we went from making deliveries to owning five food trucks, to finally completing one of our biggest goals."

The restaurant is located at 5018 Research Drive.
