San Antonio food truck owner fulfilling his passion

Anthony Cubit is passionate about cooking and now he's doing it on his Smoke Ring King food truck.

The fare is Texas BBQ and the family-owned San Antonio, Texas-based business has been going strong since 2019 and survived the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a Kens5 report.

The truck is run by Cubit and his wife, Tanya, with their daughter cooking up baked good items. Cooking up BBQ is something Cubit has been doing since middle school. His food truck is also helping to feed the homeless in the community.

"I've been in some pretty bad situations in my life, and I know what it's like to, you know, just kind of feel like you're at rock bottom. So, I asked God if He was going to help me get this, and I was going to definitely use this as a tool to continue to help his people. My gift is cooking. And so I cook. I feed as many people as I can," Cubit told the news outlet.
