Yelp names San Diego food truck top place to eat in the U.S.

Shawarma Guys, a Mediterranean food truck in San Diego, was named the top place to eat in 2020 by Yelp in its Top 100 Places to Eat in the U.S. report. The food truck had a five-star average rating with nearly 500 reviews.

Shawarma Guys is located in an empty lot near 3012 Grape St., in South Park and is owned by Bryan Zeto, according to a WNBC-TV report.

Yelp determines the top places to eat based on ratings and number of reviews in 2019 across the U.S. The report also considers each location's share of top-rated establishments nationally.
