Seafood food truck owner opening physical restaurant

Fern Creek, in Louisville, Kentucky, will soon be home to a new restaurant by food truck operator Lameshia Cunningham.

Cunningham, who has been operating a seafood food truck called Sweet & Juicy Seafood, hopes to open her restaurant at 8402 Hudson Lane in Fern Creek this winter, according to a Courier-Journal report.

"It's perfect timing because my food truck just closed for the season," Cunningham told the news outlet. "People don't really want to be out in the cold waiting for food."

The 1,600-square-foot restaurant will feature 52 seats and two seating areas.

Her food truck, which launched in 2019, serves up Cajun-style seafood boils. The restaurant menu will expand on the food truck offerings with chicken boils, burgers and wings.
