Seoul, South Korea establishes food truck zones

The city of Seoul, South Korea, is establishing a food truck zone in Namdaemun Market, on the 130-meter street between Mesa shopping mall and Samick Town, from 8 p.m. to midnight, June 26 through October, according to a Korea Times report. There will also be craft vendors and entertainment.

The city has already established five such streets, with two more scheduled to open this year.

The city offers education and consultations for people planning food truck businesses, as well as funding for those who complete an education course.
