Sirved has launched its redesigned, free restaurant app with more than 400,000 restaurant listings across North America, according to a press release.
"The app had a strong backbone with regards to its functionality and menu search," Kyle Brown, vice president and co-founder or Sirved, said in the press release. "When redesigning the platform, our goal was to elevate the user experience by adding photo driven features that allow users to discover restaurants and menus."
Starting with the discover screen, users can browse restaurants by keyword or by dietary needs, such as vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free. Consumers can use ratings and photos to guide their decisions while browsing the listings. Those looking for more perspective can browse the app to find restaurants near them using the map view. Users can also browse restaurants specifically by a food photo itself, minus logos or ratings.
Sirved has added user reviews and ratings to each restaurant listing from online platforms such as Yelp, Yellowpages, Facebook, Foursquare and Google.
