Sisters launch food truck in South Dakota

Kelsey Cook and her sister Nikki have launched a food truck called Taverns 7 Tots in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The food truck venture is a dream come true, according to a SiouxFallsBusiness report.

The sisters found a truck for sale in Denver that was called The Veggie Whisperer. The truck now offers up meat and potato fare.

"We just wanted to do something a little different than hot dogs, hamburgers, burritos and tacos," Niki Cook told the news outlet. "It's something that people are familiar with. It's Midwest food for Midwestern people."

Taverns, in the Midwest, are loose-meat sandwiches without the tomato-type sauce of a sloppy joe. The menu also features hot dogs, tacos and tater tots.
