Sodexo teams with Missouri school district on educational food truck

The Francis Howell School District in St. Charles, Missouri, has teamed with its foodservice provider, Sodexo, to launch a food truck as part of the district's culinary arts curriculum, according to KSDK-TV. Sodexo employees will train the school's culinary arts students using menus the students designed.
 
Students will gain experience cooking a range of cuisines, learning restaurant skills and interacting with customers.

The truck will visit various schools in the district and provide food that meets the national school lunch program rules. The food truck meal will not replace for the regular meal program, and the cafeteria will be open when the truck visits.
