South Carolina city lifts food truck ban on private property

April 17, 2018

The Conway, South Carolina, city council has approved new rules for food trucks, allowing them on private property, according to WBTW-TV. Food trucks previously could serve only on public property.

Food truck owners can now apply for permits as part of the city’s pilot food truck program.

Drew Basilicato, owner of the Trojan Cow food truck, said there will now be good food in addition to musicians and other artists in the city, which also recently decided to allow street performers in certain parts of downtown.
