The residents of Greenwood, South Carolina clearly love food truck dining. A Food Truck Eats event drew hundreds of foodies, according to an Index-Journal report and weather clearly played a role.
Main Street, in Uptown Greenwood, was packed as local residents attended to enjoy fare from over a half-dozen trucks parked between Oak and Maxwell avenues. Lines at the trucks began forming 30 minutes before the event's official opening at 5 p.m. Likewise, the event continued past its official closing time of 7 p.m.
"We couldn't have asked for better weather," Uptown Manager Lara Hudson told the news outlet.
Participating trucks included Pita Perfect, Everything Egg Roll and Common Pops.
