South Carolina food truck offers to feed federal employees affected by government shutdown

Scott Benny's food truck in West Columbia, South Carolina, has offered to provide free meals to federal employees affected by the partial government shutdown, according to a Facebook post. The workers are required to show their employee ID to receive food.

Managers from the food truck said they believe the community needs to stick together to make sure people suffering from the shutdown have someone looking out for them.

"We feel like it's something we should give back to them in appreciation," Jenn Reynoso from Scott Benny's told wistv.com.
