South Dakota food festival this weekend

A new food truck festival is taking place this weekend in Watertown, South Dakota.

The event, which runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Bramble Park Zoo, will feature food trucks selling everything from tacos to Peruvian food, according to a report at The Public Opinion.

It's one of the first public events at the zoo since the the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Food trucks are popular now, it's kind of a trend," organizer Jaime Stricker, who works at the zoo, told the news outlet. "We were going to try it last year, but then with COVID we canceled all events. So this will be the inaugural food truck festival."
