Three food trucks in South Jersey are helping feed healthcare workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic by providing free meals and snacks.
The trucks are Mary's Mobile Diner, Not Your Mama's Tacos and Red's Rolling Restaurant and all are based in Camden. The operators are feeding workers at Cooper University Hospital, according to a Courier Post Online report.
The initiative is being funded through donations.
"It is our turn to support them in a time of need because they have helped support us as small businesses since we started coming there a year ago, so we decided to stay. Many of them are eating on the fly and don't have a lot of time," Mary Hilbert of Pennsauken, owner and operator of Mary's Mobile Diner, told the news outlet.
