Southern German food truck comes to Fayetteville, North Carolina

Harmon's Deutsche Kuche food truck, owned by Mark and Katrina Harmon recently opened in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The truck offers authentic southern German food including pork schnitzel platter, bratwurst burgers, bratwurst on brotchen bread roll, German meatballs, red cabbage, potato salad and cucumber salad, according to a report by The Fayetteville Oberser.

Mark Harmon was born to a German mother and American father in Stuttgart, Germany where he lived until his family moved to Virginia when he was 5. He wanted to bring authentic German cuisine to North Carolina that wasn't "Americanized."

Much of the menu is locally sourced from Cumberland County farmers with the rolls coming from Superior Bakery.
