The Springfield Rotary Gourmet Food Truck Competition is back on in Springfield, Ohio this year.

The event, which was cancelled last year due to COVID-19, is celebrating its seventh appearance and will be held Sept. 11 at Veteran's Park from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., according to a News 2 WDTN report.

"We are pleased to be able to bring this charitable event back to Springfield this year," Eddie Bell, Rotary member and Food Truck Competition marketing committee chair, told the news outlet. "It is an amazing way to bring the community together to make a difference. The best part about this event is that 100% of the proceeds go toward various causes, including services to people with disabilities and scholarships."

Thirty food trucks will compete and there's a grand prize of $10,000 as well as prizes for both second and third place and a $1,000 "People's Choice" award.
