Summer food truck event to begin in New York

Meals on Wheels Rockland will host a Food Truck Festival June 28 to June 30 in Parking Lot F near The Cheesecake Factory at the Palisades Center in West Nyack, New York. The event will will also include a beer garden, children's area and live music, according to the Nyack-Piermont Patch.

The event will run 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on June 28; 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on June 29; and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on June 30.

Food trucks include Cousins Maine Lobster, Empanada Master Food Truck, Sloppie Joe's Gourmet Grub and more.

The event benefits the Meals on Wheels programs to improve the quality of life for older adults and their families.
