Sweetfrog Frozen Yogurt credits recent growth to mobile trucks and trailers

Sweetfrog Frozen Yogurt announced it has secured 35 new franchise deals through September 1 and credits its growth to non-traditional models like mobile trucks and trailers.

"Heading into 2017, we set very specific franchise development priorities, including acquiring smaller chains, re-branding local stores, and expanding our non-traditional franchise opportunities, that will continue to drive growth for months and years to come," CEO Patrick Galleher said in a press release.   

In October, Reggie Sibley and Stephen Vaughn will launch fully mobile franchises in Cleveland, Ohio and Fort Worth, Texas, respectively.

Since January 1, 2017, the chain launched its newest international location in Los Frailes, Dominican Republic. Additionally, the company announced new domestic sweetFrog locations and/or executed resales in Reno, Nevada, Sparks, North Carolina, Biddeford, Maine, Fort Worth, Texas, New Albany, Indiana, Manassas, Virginia, Hilton Head, South Carolina, Jacksonville Trinity, Florida, Greensburg, Pennsylvania, Uniontown, Pennsylvania, Morgantown, West Virginia, Fredericksburg, Virginia, Orange Park, Florida, Kingstown, Virginia, Strongsville, Ohio, Frisco, Texas, Salisbury, Maryland, Lawrenceville, Georgia, Smithfield, North Carolina, Hagerstown, Maryland, Martinsburg, West Virginia, Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania, Midlothian, Texas, Cleveland, Ohio, Johnson City, Tennessee, Florence, South Carolina, Sanford, North Carolina and Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
