Nine years ago Azella Alvarez launched a mobile food business, operating by using portable tables to sell Filipino-style egg rolls.

Three years ago she was able to get a food trailer in operation for her Filipino fusion menu that now boasts rice bowls.

In June her trailer was decimated in a fire, but she's not out of business, according to a Syracuse.com report, and back to using portable tables until she can get a trailer up and running.

Her food trailer, called Oompa Loompyas, needs a full rebuild and so Alvarez is aiming to fund that as she keeps participating at events and festivals and getting help from fellow food truck operators.

"It's a bit of a throwback to how we started," Alvarez told the news outlet. "It's a lot of loading and unloading and loading again. It's something we'll have to figure out and get through."
