Taste of Trucks festival coming to Wilmington, North Carolina

The Taste of Trucks food festival is coming to Wilmington, North Carolina on May 3 from 12 to 5 p.m. The event, held by the Genesis Block Foundation, will be held at the Cape Far Community College Schwartz Center parking lot, according to a report by WECT.

In addition to food trucks, there will be beer, wine and spirits along with live music. Festival attendees will get to the vote on the best dish out of the food trucks present.

"We are thrilled to host the Inaugural Taste of Trucks and showcase the incredible talent of Wilmington's food truck community," Lisa Weeks, board fundraising chair at Genesis Block Foundation, said in the report. "This event is not only a chance to savor delicious food and drinks but also an opportunity to support a worthy cause."
